What is Respite Care:

Our Personal Support Workers provide assistance to seniors 65+ who may or may not have a disability, who require support from a caregiver, so that the family caregiver may have free time away from or in the home.

Often family members can be tied down and need to have a relief, so they can take the time to be with the rest of their family.

Who can use this service:

Any senior 55+ who requires assistance throughout their day and receives care from a family member or other caregiver.

The client must reside in the Etobicoke, Brampton, Malton or Woodbridge areas.

How this service works:

A regular schedule will be arranged, usually with the same Personal Support Worker(s) coming at the agreed day and time each week.  Visits must be a minimum of 2 hours in length.  One-time respite visits may be arranged.

Homemaking and Personal Care services are provided to the client in combination with our Respite Service.

Please contact our office and a Community Care Manager will come to your home to conduct a FREE home assessment.  We develop a plan of care by discussing the individual needs with the client, and Caregivers or family members of their choice.
