Every year at our Community Engagement Forum, there are a number of awards that are handed out to our employees to recognize the great work that they do for our clients in the community. Below are some photos of those who were recognized and given an award.
(Above) The Sanchez Family presents Sofija Necovska with the new Janet Sanchez Emerging Leadership Award. This award has been named in honour of late CANES Director of Quality and Integrated Care, Janet Sanchez who tragically passed away just last year. Sofija holds the award with the husband and daughters of Janet Sanchez. This award stands for demonstrating ownership, engagement, selflessness, unity, and embodiment of the CANES Leadership brand.
(Above) Executive Assistant Winnie Lam presents this year's Dorothy Fuller Award for always going above and beyond the call of duty and exemplifying CANES core values to Sarana Boney, Administrative Assistant.
(Above), Receiving the Care Crusader Award for exemplifying the values of CANES by consistently providing client-centred care is Nina Pasamonte - PSW.
She was presented this award by, Bindu Sharma, Manager of Client Services (left) Mandeep Kahlon, Manager of Integrated Care (right left) and Jyoti Brar, Senior Director of Client Services and Capacity Building.

Each year, CANES also presents 2 Drivers from our Ride Connect Transportation program with the Driver Safety Award for demonstrating safety and excellence in driving. Shevaughn Henry-Charles, Manager of our transportation program (middle) presented the awards to Jugrajvir Shergill (left) and Nahid Patel (right)
